Situated in the sprawling Yorkshire Dales, The Coniston has recently partnered with Land Rover to create a thoroughly exhilarating experience that allow the hotel guests to make the most of their surroundings.
This Halloween, the partnership will see the launch of their ‘Track or Treat Land Rover’ experience where guests can buckle up with a good old-fashion ghost story before a driver takes them on a journey through the estate.

If that wasn’t enough, after the ride the guests can explore the woodland on a Halloween Treasure Hunt, that this time they’re on the hunt for the Haunted House. At the end of the activity, a Ghostly Goody Bag awaits the children, and a special Halloween Afternoon Tea back at The View Restaurant. Nick Bannister, Owner and Director of The Coniston tells us about about the hotel, and what we can expect from the experience.

FC: What’s the USP of the hotel?
NB: Location, location, location! We are so privileged to be based in such a beautiful part of the world, in a picturesque and private estate overlooking the dramatic Yorkshire Dales with attractions such a Malham Cove and Janet’s Foss just a stone’s throw away. Our spectacular setting is actually the ethos for everything we do. From our award-winning Nàdarra Spa which means ‘Natural’ in Scottish Gaelic and boasts outdoor infinity pools, a private spa garden bathing experience and organic treatments to our dining offering which makes the most of the incredible Yorkshire produce and providers on our doorstep. Not forgetting our plethora of outdoor pursuits too!

FC: Tell us about the ‘Track or Treat’ experience and the partnership with Land Rover?
NB: We were thrilled to relaunch our partnership with Land Rover Experience earlier this year given that we share the same ethos with this British heritage brand and value both luxury and innovation to the highest accord. As well as offering participants an expert led hands-on experience behind the wheel of a brand new Land Rover or Range Rover, we are delighted to launch a bespoke Halloween event for families. Our ‘Track or Treat Land Rover Experience’ will see brave families begin their day with a good old-fashioned ghost story before embarking on a journey through the eerie estate tackling tricky tracks and ominous obstacles. After this exhilarating ride, guests then get to enjoy a Halloween Treasure Hunt through our woodland walk to see if they can solve the mystery and take home a Ghostly Goody Bag. Families can even enhance their experience with a Halloween themed Afternoon Tea in The View Restaurant.
